Constan is operated by Nicholas Liljenberg ("we", "us"), an individual seller trading as Constan, who is the data controller for the personal information you provide to use the Service. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect

• Account: email, password hash, sign-in metadata.
• Service data: scans, ingredient lookups, grocery logs, dietary preferences, budget settings, app events.
• Device/usage: IP address, device identifiers, basic telemetry for security and product improvement.
• Support: any messages you send us.

Why we use it

To create your account, deliver the Service, calculate your Constan Score, prevent fraud, improve the product, provide support, and (with your consent) include anonymized data in research. Legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation as applicable.

Who we share with

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, analytics, support tooling.
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for sale of subscriptions, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management.
• Professional advisers and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion (typically 30 days for soft-deleted accounts, then permanent removal), unless required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. You can export or delete your data from Profile → Your data, or email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
